Reported Haunting
The Yuma Territorial Prison operated from 1876 to 1909 and housed some of the American Southwest's most notorious criminals. Visitors have reported shadow figures, unexplained footsteps, disembodied voices, slamming cell doors, and strange cold spots throughout the prison grounds. Its harsh conditions and violent history have made it one of Arizona's most recognizable haunted landmarks.
